Located 35 minutes away from Mwanza on the banks of The Victoria Lake and surrounded by natural giant rocks and landscapes, the location of Rocky Bay Resort is in the midst of traditional Tanzanian Villages, giving you a chance to experience true Tanzanian cultures with comfort and tranquility. We cater to individuals who wish to have an exclusive experience away from the beaten track. Our location is a peaceful communion with nature unlike any other.

GUIDED FISHING TOURS

Charter Guide Boats are available in 2-hour blocks throughout the day. The captains can take you to where the fish are biting, or if you prefer, provide a custom tour to areas of Victoria Lake that few people ever get to see.

Come aboard for a one-hour guided tour of Victoria Lake, best way to see the Lake and all its beauty, with a partner or your friends and a drink in your hand.

Cruises are available all day but the best time to be out on the Lake is at sunset. Capacity 2-6 people, the choice is yours (maximum six people, regardless of age. This is a Coast Guard regulation. Exceptions are not possible.)
